The Founders of Project Rescue
Ronnie Crocker spent 15 years of his life addicted to drugs. Half way through a 5 year prison sentence, he obeyed the Gospel. In 1989, when he was released from prison, Ronnie established Project Rescue. Ronnie and his wife, Jeanie Nicks Crocker purchased apartments in north Georgia and established the in-house Project Rescue Addiction Program in 2007.
Charles Baggett served as the chaplain of Limestone Correctional, the largest prison in Alabama, for over 20 years. In 2009 and 2010, Charles and his wife, Martha made several trips to Georgia, to visit Ronnie & Jeanie at Project Rescue. The next year (January/2011), the Baggetts and Crockers joined forces to establish Project Rescue in Priceville, Alabama.
